EPS Explained

Many cars these days come with a system known as EPS or Electric Power steering, the way this system works is by the car sensing the speed the car is being driven at. Such as low speed driving such as reverse parking or high speed driving such as on the highway.

For example when driving at low speeds such as parking the system provides the most assistance possible, while on the highway it is not assisting as much to give the driver better steering feedback and a truer feel of the road. This system is also to help improve fuel efficiency, which these days is a big plus.

This system is available in many Aussie model Toyota’s including the 2012 Camry and Aurion, the Prius C etc and also available on many other models by other car manufacturers as well, such as Lexus etc.I hope to be writing more posts here in the future.
