Geekily 12 Days of Christmas – Spotify Web Client

We reported on this a while back, ┬ábut Spotify’s Web Client has since been launched as a sort-of-public beta. I say that because, whilst any Spotify user can use it, it takes a little bit of a workaround to get into.

This seems to be a sort of loophole using Facebook apps, but perhaps not a mistake, as Spotify have made no effort to fix it. This was reported by OMGUbuntu, and after linking a Facebook app to a Spotify album, the album successfully opens in the web player. You must have Facebook to use it, but to try out the new Spotify Web Player, simply click here.

It’s pretty neat, though struggles when loading larger playlists (might take a few minutes to download entire track listing). Overall, it’s very nice, especially for use when you’re on someone else’s computer, or a public one.
